Winter is here and the wait is over: the ski slopes are finally open!

Those who come to Val Gardena to ski have at their disposal Europe's largest ski area: Dolomiti Superski, an immense circuit that features 1,200 kilometres of ski runs. The Sella Ronda circuit (also part of Dolomiti Superski) can be reached using the Dantercepies cable car, which is only 30 metres away from the hotel.

From Hotel Aghel you can also reach the cross-country skiing paradise of Vallunga, as well as Selva di Val Gardena's town centre, where you will find shops, cafés, restaurants, pubs, and artisan woodcarving workshops.
